Nickel superalloys are the main materials used in manufacturing of turbine blades and vanes aero-space industry. They works is extremely high temperature a corrosive environment (oxidation, hot corrosion) undergo several different thermo-mechanical loads. Aluminide coatings method protection surface nickel against exhaust gasses jet en-gine. In presented article microstructural characterization aluminide produced using two industrial methods (pack cementation out pack was conducted. The commercially available powders manufactured by Oerlikon-Metco were aluminizing process Bernex BPX Pro 325S CVD system. MAR M247 as base material. Amount activator pure aluminum had noticeable effect on total thickness obtained layers. Both samples with increased content formed 5 to 11.5 x thicker comparison other sample, which aluminized an Al-Co powder source. Further investiga-tions needed specify precise phase composition analyzed coatings.
